Sleepy Boo the bear goes viral
The above video of a grizzly bear named Boo went viral after it was shared by Nicole Gangnon, the manager of a refuge for grizzly bears in the Canadian Rocky mountains.
Bears hibernate in order to survive the winter without food. It is a common misconception that bears hibernate because of the cold weather, but that’s not the case. During hibernation, the bear will live on its own body fat. It’s easier than finding food during the 5 months of harsh winter.
The video captures the moment the bear wakes up after its long sleep!
