For the first week of the summer holidays, me and my family went to the Isles of Scilly. To get there we went on Skybus ( a small plane) called the Twin Otter from Lands End Airport.

There were wonderful views from the window, here is photos and a video from the air:

On St. Marys we went to a few beaches including Town Beach and Porthcressa Beach

Porthcressa beach had some resident ducks, I called them Snowy (the white one), Avo (the one with the green beak), Smoky (one of the grey ones) and Charcoal (the other grey one).

Porthcressa beach had cliffs surrounding it. Here is a picture of the cliffs and a view from the top.

Below is a picture of the Town Beaches (the beaches that surround the town). On the right is Town Beach with the Quay were you can get boats to the other islands and get the ferry back to the mainland, on the left is Porthcressa Beach.

We also went to other islands including St. Martins and Tresco by boat. I will write more posts about this soon.

To explore the island we hired a buggy for the day. This is what they looked like:

We also went on a Wildlife boat trip and we saw lots of seals.

Due to a cancelled flight, we went back on the Scillonian III.

My holiday is one I will remember for the rest of my life.

More Posts coming soon.....
