What are cheetahs?

The cheetah has a long, slim body and long tail, often found with a white tuft of hair on the tip. Its yellowish-brown fur is covered in a black spotted pattern, with whiter fur on its belly.

Where do cheetahs live?

A cheetah's typical habitat is grasslands and open plains, but they can also be found in rocky uplands and woodlands. Most cheetahs live in Namibia and Botswana.

What do cheetahs eat?

The cheetah tends to eat mammals, such as particular small antelopes. Cheetahs will also eat the young of larger antelope, as well as rabbits, birds and warthogs.
